​The Air Cadet Program is a federally-sponsored youth program. It is a national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities while learning about the air activities of the Canadian Forces. Cadets are encouraged to become active, responsible members of their communities. They make valuable contributions to Canadian society on a daily basis in terms of environmental, citizenship and community activities. Cadets also learn valuable life and work skills such as teamwork, leadership and citizenship.

The cadet program is a completely free! Even the uniform is provided free of charge. On the other hand, cadets are invited to participate in the squadron’s fundraisers, which are supervised by the squadron staff. In this way, the program is accessible to all.

Absolutely not! The Cadet Program is a great way to have fun, be challenged and make friends. You also find out more about Canada and develop new skills that will be with you for life, no matter what career you choose.
